A short, VHS - style horror game where you step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator. As you venture into the eerie Fervent Campsite, you'll uncover mysterious obelisks with cryptic symbols, abandoned white tents, and an unsettling ritual book.
Average playtime is 10 minutes.

Fervent is inspired by the game "The House In The Woods" and many other VHS style short horror games. I really appreciate the support of every single person, who downloads, plays and has fun with the game. I want to thank specifically "Glitched Velocity" for helping with the screen effects and Pulade - a game developer, who helped me with the sprinting mechanic. There credentials are linked as well.

Good short horror game, it took me way too much time to find the rock (I suffer from skill issues)

Great game! I found it quite interesting, although I spent most of the time looking for the book (which was too well hidden). I also noticed a couple of bugs that didn't hinder my experience much but did make me laugh (the player loses stamina while standing still and holding the shift key, or accidentally climbing some trees, giving a good view of the map).
And I got a good scare with the deer, and also at the final part when all the candles were lit (the sound almost gave me a heart attack). Great job, Niven!

Yes, the sprinting mechanic is new to my game, at least this version, which actually makes the player run out of speed and I am working on it. With the trees, sadly the issue is sometimes with assets, but I will try to fix those in my upcoming projects as well.

Short but not that bad at all! I guess the ghoul being super-fast is the ending? I tried getting away to no avail Lol. But overall, solid game with a solid premise. Made a video on it.

As always the game was great, finding that rock was a pain in the ass but I got there lol, the ominous stag gave me goosebumps though... the ghoul is incredibly fast, idk if your supposed to be able to finish it? but otherwise great game. Keep it going lad 💚🤌. Hopefully this video gets to stay up this time 😊.

There are a few aspects which I liked the most.
Really liked the implementation of the VHS display, I feel like that adds a lot to the game.
Also for some reason I am a fan of the blue background white text screens.
Also liked the way you transitioned from the blue sacrificial ground to the red one, these small but noticeable dynamic events also add a lot to the game(for me at least).
One small bug(but quite insignificant): I could climb some trees, managed to do it one or two times haha.

Monumental thanks for always giving your best Wildenza and supporting me, on every single step. Its not that I use your assets and genuinely enjoy playing with them, but also, you are very kind, generous and a great artist, so, yeah, this all is because of your hard work.
I do plan on expanding a game, a little, using more of your genius assets, so yeah, definitely an update coming. Also, you can always climb trees in my games, that's part of the experience lol, but seriously thou I can't help myself, I tried too many times to fix that bug and it still perseveres.

Love it! I'd totally buy this developer a beer for all these wonderful games he makes but it wouldn't be cold anymore after it travels all the way across the ocean. That aside, really enjoyed this one. I ran through it twice before I realized it's not meant to be winnable and then I liked it even more lol

Probably for the best anyway, most American beer is watered down piss (Q: Why is American beer like having sex in a canoe? A: They're both fucking close to water.) Anyway, I didn't notice a bug in this game, where was it? Either way, I really enjoyed this one, well done!
