Great game. Only criticism is that its too short. I think you nailed this very well. You peaked my interest from the beginning with a great story. The atmosphere was maintained the entire time I played.

I tough the ending was quite cool. We were at the pub 10 hours ago, but 11 hours ago we killed our ex Or did we, I am thinking maybe it was us holding the bat, maybe we just got to control the killer.
Is there another ending in which we can get on our bike and ride way leaving her untouched by us? Maybe we could drop the bat or something only for a killer to come get it.
Thanks for making the game, thought was short I really enjoyed it and have been thinking the possibilities of who the murderer could be if its not us.

There were couple of ideas I was going to execute with the game, yet, the simple "who done it" story was enough, I think. The game cooperated with borderless gaming this time. Didn't have to adjust anything with obs last time I had to change my windows resolution, so the game resolution was correct for 1080p60fps. In this case 1920x1080 as that is the standard resolution for common Televisions/phones/monitors.

I was really surprised when I saw a new game trailer from Niven's Youtube Page as I just played a new game made by him not long ago but I did enjoyed the short playthrough of the game Mason due to the story of the game. I felt that there was quite a bit of potential with this game and that many things could have been done to make it even more horrifying and amazing than it was.
I liked the interrogation scene and despite having a few English errors here and there, I think it would have been cool if we get to see Mason's perspective from the day that he planned to kill his ex like many short scenes that progressed through the interrogation/interrupt the interrogation. (For instance, planning to kill, looking for the weapon, creating an alibi etc.) I feel that this would definitely prolong the game and provide many opportunities for the creator to create horrifying moments in the game.

Thanks for a great review, as always, great playthrough ✌ I do wonder however, what specific errors where you talking about with the "English" errors, I mean, I am from U.K. and that's genuinely how I speak and formulate words, well, I don't have an accent, but my primary education is English and I do have C2 level so, really wanted to know what those were. The dialogue is supposed to be a bit campy and early 2000s, so, maybe that's the issue. As for the story, I had lot of things in mind, but due to working on 2 projects at the same time, I felt one was more important than the other. In the end, both turned out okay. I am planning on giving the character more back story in the upcoming games, maybe even a sequel or another story. Mason is a flawed character for sure.
Hey Niven, I think you kinda misunderstood what I was trying to say. You are fluent in English and I have heard you speak before in your videos but what I was referring to, was the misspelling of words in the game. At 1:25 of my video, the word "interrogation" was spelt incorrectly. At 1:54 of my video, the word "exactly" was spelt wrongly. At 2:06 of my video, it should be "officers" instead of "officer's". I hope this help to clarify what I was saying in my previous comment and will be looking forward to more games made by you in the future.
