Hey!

I saw some creepy men in the attics, the noose was creepy and a cool visual, I like the whispers, good atmosphere!

I wasn't sure what was I doing there, but I found the doll, then clicked on the crib and the screen went red over time, first time I didn't get the credits but I restarted and it brought me to credits that time.

Creepy short horror game, good work!

Thank you once again for playing Vidas!
As you can see, this was the first game I made with a legit "game engine", which I am currently using for making games. I did perfect my craft from this one, but definitely this was better than the previous games. This was more of an experiment, getting used to the real engine so yeah. Thanks mate!

Although i can see it's one of your earlier works.. it still has that creepy atmosphere! :)

A thousand thanks for playing my game. I deeply appreciate the feedback and support. Wish all the best Purple Edge. Liked the video a lot. Cheers!

Do you also pick up unknown dolls in the forest?

What can I say? This was a pretty short well-made game. The atmosphere was creepy, and I really liked the night vision camera and the ability to zoom in. I wish there were more you could do though, overall great game!

Thanks so much for the positive feedback. I am working on the actual game with a friend and it's really a good one, so, maybe you will enjoy that more.

Jay Thunderstorm Gaming played my game. Their super fun vibes and spooky playthrough just made my day. Thanks to them.

BizzareStar played my game and I was humbled by them for considering my game worth checking out. Thanks to them.

Alec played my game. I appreciate their support and shout out for the game. Thanks to them.

This game had a very cool atmosphere, and I dug the whole night vision camera perspective.. I do wish that there was something a little scarier in the game. I liked the creepiness of seeing the two figures standing in the little windows, but I wished they were more involved within the gameplay. But overall good project dev and looking forward to seeing more!

P.S. Crux is the first game in this video

Thanks a lot for playing my game. Deeply appreciate the feedback.

I really liked the green effect from the camera. Some notes: I played through once, then went to play again and I still had the doll from the previous playthrough. Also, this second time I was able to see the people around the fire, but I didn't see them the first time because the reddening of the screen effect happened too fast I guess.

Thanks a lot for checking out my game and congrats! You attended the second ritual.
That was actually a bug, which I could not fix so, I guess you are lucky. Thanks for leaving the comment, positive words and feedback.

(+1)

No problem and that's a cool kind of bug!

(+1)

Thanks a lot for checking out my game. I deeply appreciate the feedback and your consideration. Thanks.

Crux is short, simple, and a bit green, but seems like a good start for someone learning.

Good job, dev. Could use some extra audio, maybe footsteps or a breeze to fill the void.

Thanks so much for a fun, entertaining and the most hilarious playthrough of my project, I was amused. Thanks.

😊👍

Thanks a lot for playing my game. Appreciate the feedback.

(+1)

Aww no problem, you're very welcome!!

(+1)

I like your game but at  The Whisper In Graveyard gave me chills but didn't know what to do after but it was good

Thanks a lot for checking out my game, really appreciate that.

(+1)

This Game Isn't That Scary At All The Whisper In Graveyard Is Something But There Wasn't Nothing Special Personally I Recommend Adding Jumpscare With The Baby Dolls Or Some1 Watching From A Distance But I Do Like The Map It Good, But It A Ok Game
(+1)

Thank you for checking out my game. Appreciate the feedback, the game does need some additional features, yet, it's atmospheric and not jump scare type, although I would definitely consider that next time.

(+1)

was a very cool game, short and sweet

Thanks for the gameplay. I am glad you enjoyed this short experience. Appreciate the feedback.

(+1)

Actually really enjoyed this one. Definitely has the style and the environment kept me on edge the whole time. Hoping to see this maybe expanded on in the future, and looking forward to checking out your other projects!

(+1)

Thanks for checking out my game. I am glad you enjoyed it, especially the burned victims, which not many did notice, so, good job and happy you attended the ritual.

(+1)

This was really nice, the whispers were great, the atmosphere was really spot on for making me on edge. It had a feel of Blair Witch! Good job!

Thank you so much! You are too kind with the compliments. I am glad you enjoyed your time! Will definitely do better next time.

No problem, and of course! It's a great game! Looking forward to the next game!

(+1)

Are there any jumpscares or monsters in this game?

(+1)

Thanks for the question. The answer is it depends. The story is very simple, yet, the game focuses more on atmosphere, for example - the rope hanging from the tree, the mysterious people just watching over you in the houses and if you investigate more outside the forest too. It's just more of a look around, on spot game, which is once again written in the description.
As for the jump scares, I would say no, the game has no jump scares, it's an atmospheric game, once again written in the description.
Thanks for checking it out.

(+1)

Gameplay begins at 5:44, good job with this game :) the little details in it were quite spooky and I enjoyed it quite a lot !

Btw if you guys enjoyed this video, I'm trying to reach 40 subs so if you'd consider subscribing it would mean the world to me :D

Thanks for trying out my game. The doll was kind of far away in the forest, but it's fine, I am glad you enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks.

I gotta be the best investigator in the world bruu.

10/10 game bruu. 💃💃💃

(+1)

Thanks a lot for the gameplay. I know it had some issues and for sure it had a weird storyline, but I am glad you gave it a shot! Thanks!

(+1)

This game was short and spooky! I like the camcorder aspect but the ambiance was lacking. Other than that the whispers were spooky as freak! Keep up the good work!

PushPew played my game and I have to say it was super hilarious and I was laughing my hardest! Thanks to them for making time and checking the game out.

Comments below clip;

A neat little game. Even without the usual things trying to scare me [jump-startles, sound FX, 'scary' music, etc.], this game comes with a strong atmo of its own. And it's just because of the lack of the aforementioned, that CRUX becomes interesting. I have a tendency to turn to the right [in games]. In hindsight, it looks like I should have checked out the fire first, but I'm not sure if that would have been of any significance . The game ran smooth, with no visible bugs or other hiccups. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Well done.

Personally, as a writer, I would have placed the town/forest somewhere. Below is an example of how I would have written the intro to the game [not that you have to do something similar. This is meant to help you, not criticize you];

"Chloe is a private investigator, who lives in a long faded away town, known as Crux. A place close to the [southern] border with Mexico. Tonight, she is working on the open cases of various missing locals, who all have one thing in common; they went missing in the nearby Crux Forest.

People who live around there, claim that paranormal events occur during most nights. The town’s police detective, Pranav, called her to investigate the strange phenomenon, as he is too busy trying to solve two recent murder cases, that eat up all of his time.

In order to collect visual evidence, she brought along a camera, to record her nightly endeavor."

(+1)

Deeply thankful for the input. I was amazed by your comment, coming from a person, who does a little writing, your suggestion is gold. Thank you! I am trying to build up more story driven games and your feedback for more than helpful. Definitely doing better next time, I promise.

@ Niven Hedinger,

You're welcome, Niven.

Check out my Amazon link [stories] and the link to My Free Music [on my channel] and if you like/want, we can work together and come up with a game that's something different.

I like your approach and am willing to invest time and effort into getting you help things done.

I prefer synergetic [work] environments in which the only goal is to make progress and turn whatever is at hand, into a win-win situation for all involved.

Whatever you choose, I'm on your side.

Kudos to you, good sir.

Thank you so much Sir!
I do have your info and contacts and will see, for sure. I am very humbled with the offer. For now, I am doing something else, but if I get back with the games, I sure will contact you. Thanks.

@ Niven Hedinger,

Sure. Take your time. Everything in life should be done at the right moment. Even if we aren't aware when that moment has arrived or passed us by.

"Rationalization tends to be the last refuge of desperation, but then again, I am desperate to understand the rationale behind everything." - DR

Well said, Sir.
