Visual style fits the wonderfully done atmosphere and storyline perfectly, sound design is fantastic, story is interesting and creepy. Really enjoyed this one and looking forward to recording a number of your past and future releases. Well done!
Thank you! Thanks a bunch for supporting my work. I deeply appreciate the feedback. You were super kind to write a review as well and give all the positive comments. Hope to bring something new to the table next time. Cheers!
Loved the video. Huge thanks once again for trying my game out. I really appreciate the support and the showcase of my game. Best to you and good luck with your future endeavors🎇
Hey Niven! i finally got around to play Shelved Whispers (some stuff going on in my private life).
Like in all of your games, you did a very good job on the sound, visuals and atmosphere!.. Loved the subtle changes in the environment that creates that unsettling feeling in the stomach! :)
I feel really honored by so much support! Thank you dear friend. I truly appreciate your enthusiasm and hard work with both videos. It means a lot that my game can give you a great experience. I hope everything in your personal life would resolve and you wish and. Best to you and your amazing channel. Cheers! 💌
Hello Niven! Thank you for the game, I really appreciate it.
First off, I actually think this is probably my favorite of your games. I really dig the atmosphere, you really did a solid job with the sense of loneliness/isolation & the sound design that accompanies it. More so, this game actually made me jump quite a few times, so kudos for that.
In terms of game design, I think it stands well on its own. You see, what you have done here is create a reason for the character to be here, and although at first, it may seem mundane, cleaning cobwebs, the actual purpose of the player isn't actually that. Without spoiling the story (and for those of you reading, yes, there is one) it fits in perfectly and makes logical sense when you finally uncover the truth. So well done on the writing aspect too.
Graphically it is something close to my heart. Being an 80's kid, and growing up with videogames in the early 90's the art style & graphical choice are something that hits home and fills me wit nostalgia, so I can't fault your design here either. Overall, I really like this & think that this is a really underutilised genre & time period. Great overall, definitely give this one a try if you want something fun, creepy, and scary within around 10-15 minutes.
What a wonderful and kind feedback Aaron. Thank you so much. I really appreciate honest opinion, especially coming from a guy, who I am looking up to and always trying to mimic, more or less in a good way.
The idea and the script is not fully mine. As mentioned, it was a collab work with my friend and some of the visuals are his imaginative work. It was nice to hear from you and I truly can't wait to see your own new game soon.
I enjoyed it, I REALLY enjoyed the buildup of tension and some of the sound design. nicely balanced.
Tryna narrate olde english tho was a little difficult... that was the horrific part of it for me, tryna pronounce and speaketh as such. :kekw:
jokes aside, I would've loved a bit more lore and world building such as being able to read a few pages outta some of the books in the library to give a feel of what the library held since they were highly regarded and treasured in the middle ages.
The atmosphere is on par, I would've liked to see more environment though, mostly because I'm interested in this world.
Amazing playthrough! I loved it a lot. Your interest in the library truly made me appreciate the game more. You were very kind with the feedback and I will try to improve the lore with the future games, for sure. Best to you. Cheers 🎇
The video was fun to watch. It was so quite and I could actually immerse in the atmosphere and really feel how my project turned out to be. Thanks for that Koolie. I always try to improve with my games, adding some improvements, so yeah, will do better next time. Best to you friend, cheers 🎇
One of the best and most hilarious videos I've seen, especially the edits and commentary - solid gold man! Thanks once again for playing my game. I appreciate your feedback and support by purchasing my project. Best to ya, hope to see you around. Cheers 🎇
Thanks for playing my game. I have watched the video and got all the feedback I needed. Left a short explanatory comment and I do agree with you about most of the game's critique. It was fresh to see someone give a different look at the game. Wish you the best mate. Cheers 🎇

Although, I did have my criticisms, it was a pretty good game nonetheless.
