Great maze and character design! Primary Color Man will haunt my nightmares. Great work with this, had a lot of fun with it!

Thanks a lot, once again. I did watch the video and it was just marvelous. Cheers man!

(+1)

Thanks for playing the game. I was honored to be amongst the best games and I truly appreciate that. Cheers!

Had a lot of fun with this game. Gives you a challenge with the maze being colorful and the killer blending in. Makes for some nice jumpscares.

Thanks for positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed the game and hope you will come back for some more scares in the future. Cheers!

(+1)

THIS GAME IS AWESOME AND SCARY I LOVE HOW WE GOT A COLOR MONSTER ON THE LOOSE OUT TO GET US ITS PRETTY COOL AND DIFFERENT AND I LOVE DIFFERENT!!!!

Thanks for playing the game. I've watched the video and it was super fun. Glad you enjoyed this little project. Cheers!

(+1)

Thanks yeah I really enjoyed sorry for the late response I been busy with work and i really appreciate  u watching the video thanks very much for the wonderful comment and I really enjoyed the game can’t wait for more! 😇👍🏾💯

I think this game would be significantly better if the ai for the primary color man was tweaked,

Sometimes I would respawn and immediately be killed and many times I was put in a situation where I had no choice but to let him kill me. Overall for a game made in a short period I see what was trying to be executed and I can appreciate that.

Thanks for playing. If the project gets developed into a full game, the AI would be significantly better.

I had no idea there was a game jam dedicated to PCM, that's pretty cool. As for this game, it's a standard maze game where you collect items and find the exit. I don't think there is an issue with the difficulty being too high. If anything, once you understand how PCM works you can go the entire round without even seeing him.

I don't really know how I would improve a game like this, as there isn't really enough source material to go off of. According to the PCM Game Jam, the entire point of this game jam is to CREATE the backstory / lore of PCM so my feedback is really only limited to the gameplay.

Personally, I'm not a fan of maze games at all. This game was suggested by a viewer so I'm happy to play it for them, but otherwise, I just don't think maze games are very interesting. Perhaps a more narrative focus could have been more fitting for PCM but I understand that may be a bit out of your scope of skills if you're a beginner.

Thanks for making games!

(+1)

First of all, I do wish I was a beginner, but I am not. I have been doing game development for a while and created many narrative driven games, most of them having original story, script and background, some of them have just atmosphere and lore without any "cliché" pop-ups, which is why, this "not a game" experimental prototype was a silly try out to see if players would grab onto the eeriness and mysteriousness of the character and at the same time the silliness and just illogical set-up...and I guess they did.

The entire point of the jam was to showcase the unique set of the lore, which is briefly seen in the analog horror video, created by Adam, who is the artist behind Primary Color Man and once again, for the jam, as it is just being developed, it was an experiment to see if it does work. This was not made to be a story driven, "Amnesia"/"Silent Hill" like game. I don't think Slender had that popularity with the lore either, only after people kept looking at creepypasta, which the game was based on and after the "Eight Pages" they have published "Arrival", which was pretty decent and it did bring more to the table. Basically, for the Primary Color Man this is more of a subjective look at the character.

To be honest, I am not a fan of maze games either. I am also not fan of P.T. clones, Backrooms lore and many others, but for some reason, as you said in the video - "there are million good games", but somehow my crappy, half baked try out works better than others. And trust me, I am not super happy about it. Rather shocked to be in this situation.

If you look at my portfolio I have some published some alright and some decent games, but nobody cares about those games, which points to the narrative that I do understand you more than you might think. And I fully acknowledge all the flaws the game has, I do realize what the game is, I am fully self aware. Just throwing this out there.

Huge thanks for playing the game and showcasing it. I really appreciate the most objective feedback I've got and I fully agree with it. I do wish we had a platform to talk about it more, but maybe some other time. Good day to you.

Cheers!

Listen, I really enjoy these types of conversations and I apologize for incorrectly assuming your skill level as a developer. If you'd ever like to reach out and have a discussion over anything, I'm more than happy to share some words! At the end of the day, your game has accomplished things that mine haven't so clearly there are valuable things we can learn from each other.

I apologize for anything that I may have said within the contents of the video that may have 'missed the mark' so to speak.

Thanks for making games!

(+1)

Just found your game at the top itch.io games!

Thank you. I do hope you enjoy the game too.

(+1)

I will play it tomorrow! I’ve been watching some youtubers play it

(+1)

My eyes hurt, my brain hurts, my soul hurts.

Loving that background and thumbnail! Thanks for playing this, I truly appreciate all that time and effort you put into completing this and I deeply apologize for your soul. I hope Primary Color Man gets it next time. Cheers!

(+1)

I love this creepypasta !
(+1)

Merci 😊
Glad you enjoyed the game and were fond of the creepypasta. Cheers!

Here's some gameplay

Thanks for playing my game, I really enjoyed the video and I am glad you showcased my game on your channel. Huge thanks!

(+1)

I do not like this man. This primary color man is not my friend. But, this game? This game can be my friend. It was very nice.

Thank you man. I hope you and the game will stay friends for a long time. Heh, nice. Cheers!

(+1)

Game's really fun and I really like the concept of the color man. Though it's hard to tell how fast it is since it loves to do sudden burst of speed. Other then that, nice game.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/c/Levont

(+1)

Thanks for playing this man, I honestly can't be happier to see your video of my gameplay. This made my day.

(+1)

This was a very creepy game. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback and playing the game, really appreciate your time and positive words. Thanks!

(+1)

I love the concept of Primary Color Man! I think for the game, it does a really good job of audio design as you can hear which directions he's in. I do wish we had a very short sprint meter, just to break his line of sight a little easier with how fast he is. However, this was a VERY enjoyable experience! SUPER SCARY

Really happy to see your playthrough, just watched and it was truly fun, thanks and much appreciation towards you man. I did leave a comment on your video, but I forgot to mention about the sprinting. So, I decided to leave out the sprint because the space itself was not big and you had many corners to just stay put and hide behind, the other reason being that sprint could have caused more confusion, because the set up of the environment.
Once again thanks for the feedback, cheers!

(+1)

Primary Color Man is frightening! I can't quite figure out his pattern of movement, though. I also don't want to get close enough to find out!

Thanks for playing and giving it your time, I really appreciate the feedback and positive comment. Cheers!

(+1)

Of course!

(+1)

Very fun game lmao it's been a while since we had a real jumpscare based horror game and it feels good to finally have one :D

Btw I'm trying to reach 100 subscribers so if you enjoyed this video it would mean a lot to me that you'd consider subscribing to my channel :)

Thanks a lot for playing my game. Watched the video, liked it, it was fun and positive and really appreciate the feedback. I do wish you the best and keep on doing amazing content. Cheers!

(+1)

REALLY want to play, but for some reason running terribly on my rig, lemme know when there's an update? Tried both rar, and zip versions. Running a Ryzen 5 3600, and RTX3070 see no reason for this. Super odd, and I'm bummed because I loved that analog horror vibe you got out  there!

(1 edit)

Thanks for the comment about tech difficulties. I looked back at both files and the game has been played by more than 3500 people based on analytics, no one had an issue with it. It's very unfortunate.

I might be updating the game, but that won't be system update rather more contetn update. I do apologize.

Edit: And the analog video was not made by me, as stated on the page.

(+1)

No worries, I will definitely try again. Just odd that it was running so rockily!

I just checked with my close friend, who works with Unity and the current game engine I am using, which is Copper Cube 6 has the capacity to be played on the lowest end PC's. Once again, I retried the files and they all look fine. Unfortunate, that it does not work for you. Sorry again.

(+1)

Very strange, only one that was acting that way too! Hmmm, oh well I suppose!

Yes, it's very unfortunate. Because, I did open up your Youtube channel, which is amazing, btw, just great content, so, I did see you play couple of games and I did notice some of them were UE games and if those games run on your PC, I would be very surprised that this one does not, because Copper Cube 6 can run on a very low end PC, as I mentioned in the previous comments, because it has older rendering system, like one that Half Life games and early 2010s games had.
Well, either way, thanks for checking it out and giving it a try. Cheers!

(+1)

THIS GUY WAS CREEPY!
(+1)

Thanks for playing, for positive feedback and your time spent on this game. Cheers!

(+1)

Thanks for the recommendation. I meant to play it sooner, but things got in the way.

(+1)

Loved the playthrough. Much appreciate the kind words and your time. I did not give the recommendation about the game, so thanks to you mate. Cheers!

(+1)

Good job mate, well done!!

Thanks a lot for kind feedback. Cheers!

(+1)

Good game and great warm up for my scares. I barely don't play horror games that much. But I going back to play more scary games. Thank you!

(+1)

Thanks a lot man. I am glad you enjoyed it, especially considering that you don't play too many horror games, this silly little project is a good start. Once again, very much appreciate your time. Cheers!

(+1)

finishing this game gave me an over whelming sense of relief! like when you dream that your late for work and you jump out of bed to realize its your day off.. lmao

(+1)

Huge thanks to you and I am very glad you enjoyed the game and got a very interesting experience. Cheers!

(+1)

너무 어질어질

It was not messy, it was filled with energy and fun - thank you, thank you so much for great support and your gameplay. 감사 해요 😊

(+2)

I BEAT IT. I'm still not sure if I actually know the mechanics or not, but I got through it! I actually think it was a good level of a challenge once I played a few times. I recorded myself playing if you'd like to check it out!

(+1)

Thanks for playing and finishing the game. I did check out the video and it was very entertaining and fun. I appreciate the feedback and support man, cheers!

I was recommended this game by a viewer and I have never raged this hard at a horror game before... it took an hr and 35 mins to beat, but I did it and I can't tell you the relief I felt from it. I have achieved a higher lifeform.

Thanks for the gameplay and I am glad you have achieved a higher lifeform lol. The project was just a silly experimental try, but seeing your reaction made me more motivated to work on the further development. Thanks.

(+1)

This was not bad. Wasn't able to beat it as it was a bit too tough for me, but I do enjoy the challenge the game brings, might redownload it in the future and try to conquer it. Made a video on it.

(+1)

Thanks for playing my game and I will definitely work on the difficulty next time. For now, it was just an experimental project, will see how far I can go with it. Appreciate the gameplay.

(+1)

I don't know if it's because of my bad orientation, but that was super difficult! Nonetheless I enjoyed playing this Game! Good Job (:

I am so grateful for your feedback and the effort you put in this playthrough, just knowing that most people could not finish the game and you did - bravo. And I do apologize for breaking your spirit, really, did not meant to do that 😅. Cheers!

(+1)(-2)

There's only one thing I have a problem with...

That isn't a set of Primary colors, there are two sets one is additive while the other is subtractive, can't remember which is which but they are RGB (used by screens) and YCM (used by printers). RYB doesn't work

Thanks for your comment. This is an experimental game and set of Primary Colors are yellow, blue and red, those are the colors set in the mythos of this universe, it's a fiction. Once again, thanks for the feedback.

(+1)

lol really fun but very unforgiving

(+1)

Super glad you posted this here. I checked out the video when it came out and I felt honored and happy. Huge thanks to you man. Cheers!

(+1)

The game was very good and challenging! I enjoyed it and hopefully it's a first of many.

(+1)

Loved it! Tremendous thanks for posting this and giving me much needed feedback. Thanks man.

(+1)

Thank you for listening to feedback and actually giving him sound that gets louder as he gets closer, you probably gave a lot of people a higher chance to win, and that makes it challenging but fair.

(+1)

Thank you for the recommendation. I always try to fix the games according to the best feedback people give to me. So, credit it all yours. Cheers!

(+1)

Creepy game. His speed and randomness makes it nearly impossible to win.

Huge thanks for checking out my game, this just made my day. I also left a small comment on your channel. Thanks!

(+1)

This game is very trippy looking but I do love the colors! The monster looked really cool  as well. Im just not one for games like this. I was doing so well the first try but then after that it seemed like everywhere I went he was there. A good complete game just not for me. Your game is second and starts at 04: 22

(+1)

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and I was really fond of the gameplay. Thanks for giving it a true, really appreciate that.

(+1)

It`s difficult game.

Thanks a lot for making a gameplay video, I truly appreciate your support and glad if you enjoyed the game.

(+1)

Brilliant! ❤️

(+1)

Thank you for such an amazing comment and feedback 💖

(+1)

😊👍

Thanks for dedicating your time playing this, much appreciated.

(+1)

really enjoyed this game, it was a fun game, i think the ai of PCM needs work and i think you should make it a little less obvious were the door will be but apart from that great game, gameplay below, if you enjoy be sure to hit the sub button and check out some of my other horror content!

Deeply appreciate the kind words, very useful feedback, the review and super fun gameplay. Cheers!
