Very good story. I didn't expect the twist towards the end. I always enjoy your games. Keep up the good work

Likewise, I always enjoy your videos. Thanks a bunch for playing and supporting my games man. All the best to you!

What a pretty solid game! Loved how you basically start at the end of the story and start to figure out what truly happened to end up on the island, dark plot as well. Made a video on it.

Huge thanks for playing Fearagen! Always happy to see one of your banger videos. I explained the story in your comment, not really want to spoil things in the comment, but hell yeah, thanks for the internet lol. Best to you friend!

great job! I'm not expecting this game will deliver unpredictable story! One of the best story line physiological horror game in itch.io. just realized one thing when I was editing the gameplay. When Ben heard a shot, then he check Charlie, I thought he suicide by shooting him self by a gun but I found a knife. Lol I didn't even realized in the game 😅

Wow, this is a huge praise! Thanks a lot for writing such a nice comment. I am glad you liked this. Yes, poor Charlie was lied to. I liked the video. Best to you and your channel as always!

This game was insane great job I can tell those months spent on this game did not go to waste.

Many thanks for the feedback and nice comment! I appreciate your support friend. Glad that you liked it haha. Best to you!

GREAT game!!! I love the non-linear storytelling and piecing everything together! It was also very well paced for a short story! I love it!

Dude, your voice acting was stellar! Thank you so much for being so enthusiastic and supporting my work, I really appreciate that. Wish all the best to you and your awesome channel 🍻

What a game, maybe it's your best one so far

My only complaint is the paper color is too similar to the sand one!

Ah, during the dialogue it's written to press RMB to progress but if you press it does not progress...only if you press the left one it goes on

5 out of 5

Thank you so very much for playing friend, I deeply appreciate the feedback and your support! Yeah, I am trying to sort those things out, for sure, thanks for pointing them out. Hope to make a better game next time. Cheers!

Another masterpiece from Niven!

Huge thanks for playing man! Your commentary never disappoints. I messed up with that RMB, didn't I lol, oh, I will try to fix it, meanwhile, I hope people won't get mad. Thanks again for the support. Cheers!

Hey, this might just be an issue with my laptop, but for some reason when it opens the game all the things on the island are just black. Like I can see the water around the island, but everything else is just black. I've tried downloading it a few different times and restarting my PC and those haven't worked. I really want to play the game as a fan of your work, but this is unfortunately preventing me from playing.

Hello. Sorry to hear about the issues, thanks for letting me now. I double checked everything in the executable and made a new version, just uploaded it, maybe you can try that, otherwise, I really can't help much, sorry. Thanks for trying it out, I really appreciate that.

Appreciate you attempting to update it, but still nothing on my end. Probably just something with my laptop, but I look forward to playing this back on my actual PC another day!

Sorry to hear that. I hope next game works too, yeah.

hey dude, i have tried 15 separate times to download this game and play it but my computer keeps shutting it down and treating it like a harmful virus, so i don't know if ill be able to play it, this happens with all your other games but generally if i turn off virus protector it always works but with this one, nothing has worked, i apologize

Thanks a lot for trying to play my game Slushie. I can convince you, with all my honestly, that after 8 years of game development and 6 years of publishing games on this page, using the same game engine, no malicious virus or anything of sorts it used. It's the false statement that some PC's tell you and I fully understand not wanting to play it. Again, I have more than 300K downloads for all my games combined and none cause any serious issues with any PCs or programs.
I deeply appreciate your support and hope you can play the next one. Cheers!

Oh I know it doesn't have one lol I've played almost all your games, computer just being dumb lol I'm going to keep trying when I'm off work because I've been waiting to play this since you posted teaser

Just uploaded a new version. I cleared up some things I saw in other peoples' playthroughs so, I hope that helps man. Cheers!

Impressive, Niven!

I have to say the game really surprised me, although I had to play it twice—I'm not sure if it was due to a bug (or maybe my own stupidity), but I'll comment on it here.

As a developer, you know where objects are hidden, so you think they'll be easy to find (always in the developer's mind). But when someone outside the development plays the game, it becomes much harder for them to find that object since they don't know where it could be.

This doesn't necessarily mean that I found it difficult to locate the notes at the start of the game, but here's where the "bug" (or my own idiocy, as I mentioned) comes in. After collecting almost all the notes, a new one is supposed to appear next to some rocks, but it never showed up (even though I checked the area thoroughly).

However, on my second playthrough, I found the note within seconds. So, my conclusion on that is either I was too dumb and missed it the first time, or it really had bugged out.

That small hiccup doesn't take away from the fact that the game is amazing, with a dark story and Lovecraftian horror elements (which I loved). Without any doubt, I can say this is one of your best games, Niven.

Best of luck with what's to come in the future!

First of all, I have to say, that when you post a comment on my game, every single time, the day gets better and better, because your work and just in general you as a developer really inspire me. Thank you mate, thanks for playing the game and leaving a thoughtful review. More thanks for pointing out a problem as well, because I replayed the game and I was faced with the same issue. I will make sure to fix it!

All the best to you and thanks again ✨🙌

Good job as always, Niven!

I really liked the screamer with tentacles. And I liked fishing in the game. Very convenient, not like in reality with a fishing rod =)
Interesting plot and unexpected ending. A bit reminiscent of the horror film Antropophagus 1980.

FredRichi! Friend, how are you? It's been a while. Thank you so much for such huge support, I deeply appreciate that. Glad that you liked the game, yeah. This was actually, loosely based on Stephen King's short story "Survivor Type".
Can't wait to see your games as well. Cheers!

Nice this was really great game I like it very much and I know that feeling the hunger and lonely on island and try to survive you know what I mean I guess anyway well done keep it up!

Huge thanks for playing and supporting my work, I really appreciate that. The main theme of the game is about how primal we are so, in a way, we can all relate to the character. Thanks again for the comment. Best to you!

That's so nice of you, thanks a lot, really. Most of my games are silly, but I make them for my own joy, and then share it with others. Yes, I am actively helping most people interested in Copper Cube and game development, so, yeah. Thanks again 🤗

Have you seen my game

Yes. I will make sure to check it out!
